OUR HISTORY
YOUR "PREFURD" CHOICE SINCE 1987
Prefurd Welding Ltd. was established in Fox Creek, Alberta by John Tiegen in 1987 offering welding services in the area. With the growth of the oil and gas industry and realizing the potential for the company's future, he relocated the business to the Grande Prairie area in 1995.
This marked the beginning of the expansion of the business operations. As demand continued to increase, the company diversified, and expanded it's services to include pipeline construction, custom fabrication, and oilfield insulating to the oil and gas industry.
This has led to the natural progression of Prefurd becoming a leading primary contractor on multiple large projects. As a result of this diversification, our clientele have come to depend on Prefurd - focused on delivering excellent results.
